Extraction
Our water is extracted from aquafers located at the foot of a limestone terraces (about 125,000 years old) on a plateau that extends in a southerly direction located at short distance (about 500 meters) from the Caribbean Sea on the Island of Curacao.
Prefiltration
Prefiltration System is capable of removing salts, proteins and other impurities within its range from our Source Water, using an Ultrafiltration technology & membranes with a nominal pore size of 0.0025 to 0.1 microns.
Activated carbon
After Ultrafiltration, our source water is filtered with activated carbon to eliminate pesticides, herbicides, flavors and odors, all aquafers water have some degree of contamination with chemical products and pesticides of which we are not exempt.
Osmosis
After Activated Carbon, we use Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology to separates organic and inorganic components from the source water by using pressure exerted on a semipermeable membrane greater than the osmotic pressure of the solution. The pressure forces the pure water through the semipermeable membrane, leaving behind the dissolved solids.
The result is a flow of pure water, essentially free of minerals, colloids, particles of matter and bacteria.
Our water undergoes a double pass reverse osmosis process to eliminate all impurities greater than
0.0001 microns *.

Ultraviolet rays
Ultra Violet light works as a germicide, nullifying the life of bacteria, germs, viruses, algae and spores that may have survived in the water.
Microorganisms can not proliferate because they die in contact with light.
Ozonification
The ozone in water is the fastest and most effective natural oxidant that exists has a high bactericidal, virulized and fungicidal power, destroys microorganisms by oxidizing its protective layer (lipids), ozone in water is 12 times more soluble than oxygen, chemicals act by enzymatic poisoning of vital centers, so ozone turns out to be thousands of times faster than chemicals.
With the application of ozone in water allows to get the elimination of undesirable flavors and odors, as well as the inactivation of viruses, bacteria and any other microorganism.
